The Narrow Way

“Enter through the narrow gate.  For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.  But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”  Matthew 7:13-14

The word “accuser” in scripture also means “hinderer.”  The adversary desires to hinder your godly calling and pursuits, doing all in his power to distract, confuse, and misdirect you.  He will entice you down the “good path” so that you are too busy to seek the voice of the Holy Spirit who alone directs you toward the “best path,” which is the narrow way.

What seems good to man ends in death.  God’s ways are not our ways, and his thoughts and plans are immeasurably greater than our perspective.  We must repent of arrogantly serving as our own god, with our limited logic, our humanism and our assessment of what is right and wrong.  When man chose to “eat of the fruit,” of the philosophy of good and evil balancing one another, “yin and yang,” and the “duality” of life, he made himself vulnerable to a subtle lie that cleverly obscures the truth from his understanding.  The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil produces separation from our Creator God and results in spiritual death.

Evil is NOT necessary for good to exist.  It never was.  Righteousness and love and kindness and mercy were never dependent on a negative counterpart.  This is a ruse of the Evil One that has effectively hidden the way to the narrow path which leads to abundant life.  Countless souls have been beguiled throughout the ages, led astray on their way to finding the truth!

Yeshua IS the way, the truth, and the life!  He is the narrow path.  Total obedience to and absolute love for the Father, YHVH the Creator, was his example to us — and if we are to be counted among the brethren, we will love YHVH, our Elohim, with all of our hearts and all of our souls and all of our strength, doing only what the Father says is good and true and right.  We will “rejoice in the Lord,” as we travel along the narrow way, being nourished by the Tree of Life, Yeshua, our Beloved, who gave himself to us and for us as “the bread that came down from Heaven.”  He is the door, the gate, the portal, and the ONLY way to abiding joy and everlasting life in the presence and glory of our Father.
